As the season draws closer and closer, we're catching up on some of the players we missed earlier in the countdown.
#35 K Emilio Nadelman
Redshirt Freshman, 5'6", 173 lbs.
Stats in 2013: Nadelman redshirted and did not play.
Spot on Pre-Season Depth Chart: Second string kicker behind Marvin Kloss.
How did he come to USF: From Miami Central High, where he was under the tutelage of current USF running back coach Telly Lockette. He originally committed to FIU, but decommitted after just a week and gave his word to the Bulls shortly after.
Recruiting Rankings: Emilio was given two stars by both Rivals and 247.
Projected Playing Time in 2014: He probably won't play unless Kloss gets injured, so let's hope we don't see him this year. Still, it looks like there could be a very bright future ahead for Emilio. Word out of spring practice said that he was giving Kloss a run for his money, and Coach T did state during the spring that there was competition at every position apart from punter, so hopefully we've got another good kicker waiting in the wings (Kicker has been a rare position of strength for USF lately, hasn't it? I didn't think I could love a player more than Maikon Bonani until Marvin Kloss came along).
Fun Fact: At 5'6", Emilio is the shortest player on the Bulls' roster.
