Stampeding the 2014 USF Football Roster - #75 C Kofi Amichia

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Today's Bull is a valuable member of the second-string offensive line.

The stampede through the offensive line continues with a player who's likely being primed for bigger things in 2015.

#75 C Kofi Amichia
Redshirt Sophomore, 6'4", 283 lbs

Stats in 2013: Amichia didn't see any playing time in 2013, backing up starting center Austin Reiter.

Where was he on the 2013 Depth Chart: Amichia was listed as the second-string center.

How did he come to USF: From McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga., where played both ways and also lettered in basketball and track.

Recruiting Rankings: Rivals and 247 both had Kofi as a three-star prospect. He chose the Bulls over offers from Cincinnati and Indiana, among others.

Projected Playing Time: The only way Amichia sees the field this season is if we're bringing in the second-team offense or if Reiter gets hurt. There were literally no garbage time opportunities in victory for USF last season-- seriously, check Bill Connelly's stats-- so hopefully he gets a couple series this time around. Either way, he likely has an inside track for the starting center job in 2015. He's already upped his freshman weight by over 20 pounds, so that's a good start.

Fun Fact: Kofi is a well-traveled man. Both of his parents hail from Ghana, and he's one of only eight Bulls on the roster from Georgia.
