Poor Shooting Curbs Women's Hoops Again

The USF women's basketball team paid a visit #14 ranked Oklahoma State on Saturday night, coming off a home win against Stetson six days before. For the fourth straight game, the Bulls failed to shoot better than 40% from the floor, and the early return of Inga Orekhova from meniscus surgery proved to be of little help despite her 13 points in a game-high 34 minutes, 12 of which coming from behind the arc. Courtney Jenkins was the Bulls' top scorer with 18, but had to take 21 shots to get there. Oklahoma State improved to 8-0 with the help of their defense, forcing USF to turn the ball over a season-high 21 times. The only categories in which USF led was rebounds and bench points, posting 40 to OSU's 39 and 37-13, respectively.

The ladies won't have the luxury of a long turnaround week this time around, having to get back to Tampa for a matchup with Middle Tennessee State on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.. After that, they'll wrap up their non-conference schedule with a trip to College of Charleston on Saturday.
