Another underclassman is up next, but unlike Elkino Watson he'll be making his on-field debut at some point this fall.
#52 LB Zack Bullock
Redshirt Freshman, 6'3" 210 lbs.
Stats in 2011: None - Bullock took his redshirt year.
Current Spot on Depth Chart: Zack is not listed on the post-spring depth chart at linebacker.
How Did He Come To USF: Bullock came from Sebring High School, where he was a standout for three seasons at linebacker. In his senior year in 2010, Zack had 45 tackles, four sacks, 22(!) pressures, and forced four fumbles. (Does Sebring play a 3-4? That's a ton of QB pressures for a linebacker unless he's rushing a lot.) And like a lot of players on the USF roster, Zack also played for his high school basketball team. He chose USF over Iowa State and Western Kentucky.
Recruiting Rankings: Bullock got two stars from Scout, three stars from Rivals, and three stars from 247.
Projected Playing Time for 2012: With USF's strong set of starting linebackers, Bullock's role this year will mostly be as a spot backup and on special teams, along with some mop-up duty, as he waits his turn in the lineup.
