Today we meet the only player named after a Norse god. Let's see who it is.
#64 C THOR! Joswiak
Redshirt Freshman, 6'4" 307 lbs.
Stats in 2011: THOR! spent last year redshirting, learning the new offense and honing his skills with Mjölnir.
Current Spot on Depth Chart: Joswiak was listed as the backup at center behind Austin Reiter on the post-spring depth chart.
How did he come to USF: THOR! comes to USF via Lake Region HS in Eagle Lake, FL just outside of Winter Haven. Joswiak chose USF over offers from Boston College, Iowa State, Louisville and West Virginia, where his father played football.
Recruiting Rankings: THOR! was listed as a 3-star recruit by 247 (#17 OG) and Rivals (#36 OG), and a 2-star recruit by Scout (#121 OG)
Projected Playing Time for 2012: It will be tough for Joswiak to see significant minutes this year at center. Reiter looks to be entrenched as the starter right now, and unless he's hurt THOR! will be relegated to mop up duty and saving the world from Loki and the like.
