Stan Heath and the USF Bulls basketball team have announced their non-conference schedule for the 2012-13 season.

The season starts off with a five game homestand at the newly renovated Sun Dome. USF takes on the UCF Knights on Nov. 10. The Bulls will then host Maryland Eastern Shore, Western Michigan, and Loyola-Chicago in a round robin tournament from Nov. 16-18. Finishing up the homestand are the Bradley Braves, who will visit Tampa on Nov. 20.

USF then heads over to DeLand to take on the Stetson Hatters on Nov. 26 before heading back home to take on Georgia in the Big East-SEC Challenge on Nov. 30.

The Bulls kick off December with a trip to Oklahoma State on Dec. 5 before a three-game home schedule of Youngstown State on Dec. 18, Bowling Green on Dec. 21 and George Mason on Dec. 29. UCF will finish off the non-conference schedule when USF makes the return trip to Orlando on Jan. 5.

Just a couple of thoughts

- With the nine Big East home games, USF will have 18 home games, which is pretty awesome compared to last year's nomadic experience.

- With trips to Stetson and UCF, USF will only leave the state of Florida one time before Big East play. Should help out with travel costs I guess.

- Not a lot of marquee names this year, but it should mean a lot of wins next year. Only one team had a Kenpom rating under 100 (Oklahoma State at 95), and have a couple of cupcakes in UMES (331 of 345) and Loyola-Chicago (281) in their four team tournament.

Now that we know who the Bulls will be playing what do you guys think? Let us know in the comments.
