Danny Otero Makes Major League Debut

Danny Otero, who pitched one season for USF in 2007, made his major league debut yesterday for the San Francisco Giants. Otero gave up one run in two innings of long relief against the Arizona Diamondbacks. With Tony LaRussa's retirement, and Ross Gload not being re-signed by the Phillies, Otero is currently the only USF alum in Major League Baseball.
