I can already say this -- nothing good will come from the USF-Rutgers game this season. Not after USF announced that the game originally scheduled for September 15 has been pushed up, and is now a Thursday night game set for September 13 set for 7:30 PM so ESPN can broadcast it.
I don't know who thought it would be a great idea to give USF an extremely short week to prepare for a coach they've never seen before in conference play. (Note from Jamie: MARINATTO) Add in the fact that the Bulls will have to make a cross-country trip after their game against Nevada, in the wrong direction, taking away even more valuable time from their preparation.
Oh, and USF is horrible on Thursday night and horrible against Rutgers. This doesn't look good at all for the Bulls On the bright side, we don't have to hear Craig James talk for three-plus hours. So at least we have that going for us. Which is nice.
