US PRESSWIRE

The Skip Holtz era is over. What next?

According to the omnipresent Brett McMurphy, and quickly backed up by everyone else, Skip Holtz's tenure as USF coach has ended after three seasons. A press conference will take place this afternoon.

Holtz, who received a five-year contract extension in June, finishes with a 16-21 record as the Bulls head coach. USF lost 16 of their last 20 games and finished a combined 5-16 in Big East play under Holtz.

Much, much, much more to come.

2pm Update: Press conference will be at 4pm at the Selmon Center.
