Rhode Island has a pretty odd state drink called coffee milk. Its made when you mix coffee syrup (Does this still have caffeine? Because if it does I might buy a case or 10.) and milk. Its a Rhode Island specialty and you really can't find coffee syrup outside of The Ocean State.
But the ingredients sound verrrrrrrrrrrrry similar to today's mixology selection. Recipe from The Bar
--------------------
White Russian
- 1 oz. of your favorite Vodka
- 0.5 oz. Coffee Liqueur
- 2 oz. cream
- 1 sprinkle(s) nutmeg
- Add cream, coffee liqueur, and vodka. Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass. Garnish with a sprinkle nutmeg.
