USF Basketball Mixology: Game 20, DePaul

(DISCLAIMER: Enjoy responsibly. 21 means 21. Don't drink and drive.)

If I could find anything incorporating Full Throttle Blue Demon in a cocktail I would have done it in a heartbeat, but alas I couldn't find anything. But since DePaul resides in Chicago, it makes today's mixology a little too easy. Maybe you can grab 1 or 10 of these at Harry Caray's right next to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont. I'm sure he had a few of these too in his time.

Recipe via Drink of the Week:

The Chicago Cocktail

• 2 oz. Brandy
• 1 oz. Champagne
• Dash of Angostura Bitters
• Dash Triple Sec

Use a cocktail glass with a sugar rim (make by rubbing a lemon around the rim and then dipping in powdered sugar). Then combine ingredients (except the champagne) in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into the glass. Finally, add the champagne.
