The Day After: USF-Notre Dame
Just think of this as your post-game Bull-ogosphere. If you guys have a better name for this let us know in the comments.
-A lot of good stuff from the official site. First we have a good recap from Tom Zebold on the win. There's also some quality videos you can watch on our swank video widget over on the right. There's a photo gallery here, and here is their Social Media Round-Up from the game.
- Greg Auman has a ton of great stuff over on TampaBay.com. First is this must watch video of the players giving Skip Holtz a hug after the game. Auman also has a video up of his postgame thoughts. Here is a good post on the drive that pretty much sealed the game. He has some assorted notes from the game and finally his game recap.
- Keith Arnold over at Inside the Irish has his thoughts on the game. Also he gives his 5 things he found out about the Irish.
- Jared Smith over at SB Nation New York has a brief recap of USF victory with his weekly Big East round-up.
- Andrea Adelson over at ESPN has videos with B.J. Daniels, Quenton Washington, Sterling Griffin, and Jerrell Young over on The Big East Blog. The Daniels interview also has her recap from the game.
- Brian Hamilton at the Chicago Tribune has his recap of the game here. Those Brian Kelly pictures are going to be there for a while.
- Over at the Tribune, Adam Adkins has his recap up here. Adkins also has his assorted notes from the game. Michael Magnanello has a good post on the bend-but-don't-break defense that worked to perfection. Martin Fennelly has a column up on the Bulls wanting to win the game for Lee Roy Selmon.

It would be great
But still don’t feel good using it with it being such a big event for Athletics

I still think West Virginia in 2007 is the biggest
But this is Top 5

Florida State was big too for in-state reasons. Pitt in 2001 started USF on the path to the Big East. Louisville in '05. And Auburn.
We have so damn many Biggest Wins Ever, it’s hard to pick one.

Yeah
I’d put it around the 4th or 5th biggest win. It was more important to beat FSU and Miami. Auburn was the first win that put us on the national stage. WVU ‘07 was important to show that we could live up to the hype (even though we eventually didn’t).
considering Notre Dame is not an elite team anymore, merely a very good one with a ton of history
it’s not that big. The wins over Auburn and West Virginia in 2007 were bigger… over Pitt in 2001 was our first big win… the win over Florida State in 2009 was good for recruiting purposes as was the win over Miami last year.
Gotta say the biggest win in program history is yet to come: the win to clinch the Big East for example, or a New Year’s Day BCS bowl game…
Time to shamelessly plug my book and short story!
Just stopping by to say thanks.
