Daily Bull-ogosphere: September 2

It's Football Eve everyone! We hope you guys had a better night than everyone except the punters in the Western Kentucky/Kentucky game. On to the links!

1. Greg Auman had one of his famous 90 minute live chats yesterday. You can read the entire transcript here if you've got the time.

2.The Big East went 3-0 yesterday! #BigEastSolidarity! Yes, Syracuse almost lost to Wake Forest, and Louisville looked unimpressive against Murray State. But on the bright side, Schiano ran up the score against some school named North Carolina Central and OtB will rank Rutgers third in the Big East Power Poll next week. Wait...he did that THIS week. Oh, he'll have them first then.

3. The Half-Hoops have already moved past their win against Wake Forest last Saturday, and the team is ready for their home opener tonight against Georgia State tonight. Remember the Lady Half-Hoops start things off at 5:00 over at The Kop, so if you're not on your way to South Bend, try to stop by.

4. The guys at One Foot Down have a couple of good articles up on the Irish. CW makes a rare appearance after stepping down at Rakes, and posts his novella on the 2011 Irish. Eric has a much shorter but still in-depth game preview.

5. You need to read this.
