We are at T-Minus 27 Days and counting until the season opener against Notre Dame. In the first of our two entries for today, we meet a walk-on who will try to get on the field for the first time.
Sophomore, 6'2", 203 lbs.
Stats In 2010: Patrice did not see the field in his first season at USF.
Current Position On Depth Chart: Pierre was not listed on the two-deep on the post-spring depth at any of the four defensive back positions.
How He Came To USF: Pierre came to USF via Liberty High School in Kissimmee, FL. While I can't find any statistics for Patrice during his time with the Chargers, Pierre did well enough at Liberty to earn All-Osceola County honors his senior year. Pierre accepted a preferred walk-on position in the fall of 2010 over offers from some smaller schools out of state.
Recruiting Rankings: Patrice was not listed by either Rivals or Scout.
Projected Playing Time In 2011: Like last year, Patrice will provide some solid depth and will help out with the scout team during practice. We'll see if Pierre can find the field this season on special teams or getting in as a reserve.
