Stampeding Through The Roster: #18 P Justin Brockhaus-Kann

Stay connected for news and updates

Today we meet a starter from last season who is in one of the few roster battles this fall.

#18 P Justin Brockhaus-Kann

Redshirt Junior, 6'2" 222 lbs.

Stats In 2010: Justin participated in all 13 games last season. JBK punted 64 times last year and averaged 37.6 YPP.

Current Position On Depth Chart: Brockhaus-Kann was listed as the backup to Chris Veron on the post-spring depth chart.

How He Came To USF: JBK comes to USF from Winter Springs High School just on the outskirts of Orlando.  Justin was an All-State selection his senior year, and averaged 46 YPP for the Bears. USF was JBK's first offer, and committed on the spot back in September of 2007.

Recruiting Rankings: Rivals and Scout both gave Brockhaus-Kann a 2-Star ranking.

Projected Playing Time In 2011: Brockhaus-Kann looked pretty good in the scrimmage Saturday. The 3-way battle between him, Veron, and Mattias Ciabatti will probably go all the way to game week. The soon to be released depth chart should be a big indicator on who will be punting this season.
