For a half, USF looks a tad befuddled and allows the score to stay close, to the point where, with about 8 min left in the 3rd, SB has the ball and is driving, down 14-7, and I start to think “Jesus, is USF about to be tied with freaking Stony Brook?” before Mistral Raymond recovers a fumble and runs it back for 6, finally making the game comfortable about 2 quarters too late. From there they tack on 17 more to make the score look “blowout respectable”

Stony Brook runs for over 200 yards using the patented upstate NY “Cannoli Bone” a vaunted rushing attack featuring several 5’7 Italian Kids that were all county at Holy Sister Mary of Enduring Trinity Catholic School.
