PREPARE SHIP FOR LUDICROUS SPEED

Full story here:

The Pac-10 board has given commissioner Larry Scott the authority to pursue any possible expansion for the conference.

Scott spoke following the conclusion of the conference meetings in San Francisco on Sunday. Earlier in the day, he addressed the chancellors and presidents about possible expansion and was given authority to move ahead without having to go back to the board for approval.

If any conference was a Cuisinart,

it would be the Big East.

It’s going to be a very interesting few days.

Who knows what will happen in the next few weeks.

Nebraska and Mizzou are supposedly on the clock though.

They're going to have to take a leap of faith, I think

I’m convinced the Pac-10 left them alone because they expect the Big 10 to claim those two. Certainly they would have been more appealing than Texas Tech and Colorado.

I want all this to happen soon. I hate waiting.

Plus I’m interested to see what happens to us.

Mizzou and Nebraska should take the leap of faith and something will definitely happen.

Hopes of moving to the ACC rely on Nebraska and Notre Dame

Big Ten officials and a Notre Dame official met for 4 n 1/2 hours today to talk about what will happen with their future. They agreed their timeline on expansion will be speed up due to the Pac 10. It seems as though if Notre Dame accepts the Big Ten invitation then the Big Ten will not expand any farther. If Nebraska takes the leap of faith, then all conferences will expand to 16 more then likely opening the doors for new ACC members (USF).

The Big East and the Big 12 are safe for now

oh great news, and SEC commish targeting schools?

thanks for the link voodoo 5 really helps clear out my puzzled mind over the Irish’s condradicting actions.
Also did see two or three different reports including mysec.com share what the SEC is considering it’s targets if Texas schools jump ship to the PAC-10, it was in order as follows. 1. Florida State 2. Clemson 3. Georgia Tech 4. Miami. I was pretty shocked with Miami, I don’t see how they fit but thats what I read. Probably just more speculation though.
