Expansion talk swirls for conferences update
"This isn't smoke, this is fire."
Thats according to the most credible college football reporter out there, ESPN's Joe Schad. He is reporting that Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State are the six schools likely to recieve invitations to the Pac-10. Another suprising find was that Texas A&M has been communicating back and forth with the SEC. Texas and Texas A&M like the posiblities of having their own networks, something only the SEC said they could have. This really shows that the SEC is poised to expand following any other conference who does it first. That is likely to happen. Bulls fans, cheer for the Pac-10 to grab those Big XII schools so the SEC must raid the ACC for 2 to 4 teams. Eventually this will leave open spots in the ACC, a great chance for USF to get an invite.

Update
Missouri and Nebraska have until 5 pm Friday to either declare loyalty to the Big 12 or say they will move to the Big Ten if they come calling. If they choose to not declare loyalty, a Austin official said the 6 Big 12 teams rumored to go to the Pac-10 will bolt right away when the invitations come. If this is the case, good news for USF fans.
