NOTE FROM VOODOO: Unfortunately we had to call this off when we all took a postgame detour into Bat Country. All I can tell you is that it involved a gouda burger, fried pickles, macaroni and cheese bites, Yuengling, and of course Four Loko, which as of Saturday, November 20, 2010, was still legal in Florida.
Sometimes people do stupid things. I am about to do something very, very, stupid for all of you. Tomorrow after the game, I will be attempting the Big East LobsterFest Challenge at an undisclosed location somewhere in the state of Florida. As you all know, the highlight of Big East Media Days in Newport, Rhode Island, is the annual clambake, and the unofficial contest involving all-you-can-eat lobster. After everyone talking a big game this year, there was a tie atop the leaderboard, as Pitt's Greg Romeus and USF's Sampson Genus both demolished six crustaceans.
So my goal is to finish seven whole lobsters. At 6'2" and 280 pounds, I can hold my own at the table. There will be cameras present, so either way, I will lose no matter what. If somehow I win this, I'll move on to eating seven-pound steaks in the name of making an ass out of myself. See you guys on the other side.
Maybe.
